Building connections to community and country.

TOP

Wildflower is an indigenous-led-not for profit-social enterprise

We create and nurture native green spaces, working with communities to build a sustainable connection to country. We also provide safe, meaningful work for people facing barriers to employment.

WHAT WE DO

Horticultural Services

We offer premium sustainable horticulture, landscape and ecology services to businesses and government clients, including ecological restoration projects, city garden creations, facility garden/grounds maintenance, plant installations projects, plant selection and advice.

We can also complement large or small

infrastructure projects with full softscape works and expertise.

Sustainability

Wildflower uses a different approach to landscape services. We use methods and techniques that are sensitive to the land and enhance local ecosystems. Our focus is beauty and biodiversity, with an emphasis on softscapes, indigenous plants and food forests.

community empowerment

Wildflower employs people that face significant and complex barriers to meaningful, sustainable work, bridging the disparity of opportunity that exists across our communities. We do this by providing a safe working environment through:

  • Connection to community and country

  • Providing a support network

  • Celebrating diversity and inclusion

We aim for these to lead to creating pathways for long fulfilling careers and build resilience and empowerment within the community, with a particular focus on Aboriginal youth and people.

Wildflower acknowledges the Traditional Custodians upon whose ancestral lands we live and work. We pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging, and acknowledge the continuing connection Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have to the land, sea, and community.
